Overall impression of car visually is good. The car also runs and drives very well.
Drove to 2016 Detroit Woodward Dream Cruise. Drove Surface Streets from Ann Arbor to Cruise weather was in low to mid 80's. Considering the stop and go of the drive, she performed very well. Driving home we used the expressway and again, great performance. Stopped in Ypsilanti at Roy's Squeeze-Inn for the classic Roy's Big Cheese Squeeze Burger and had a great time taking the old gal out for the day.
This is a great vehicle for a guy or gal who enjoys the fun of an old car that can be driven and tinkered with. I don't consider myself a "Car Guy" and feel our '77 El Camino need a new home. In the right hands this El Camino could easily be raised to Show Quality.
Are you looking for the taste and feel of the "Good old Days"? If yes and you like El Caminos, here is an opportunity to join the ranks of Classic Car Owners.
