WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF THE CAR? We bought in the next small town over from Athens. It was owned by a older lady. Her husband pasted away last October after a long sickness. The Corvette was his baby. This may the first car I have never had to fix anything on. The gauges work, air conditioning work, we did not even touch up a stone chip. To my knowledge the only thing that does not work is the clock.
HOW IS THE TITLE? We do have a clear Tennessee title in hand and the VIN is clean and matches the car tag. It does state that the car was last registered in Georgia.
HOW IS THE PAINT? Very good paint, I see no cracks in the paint or body. The shine is very good, it was block sanded good and its not wavy. Of course no dents or dings! Chevrolet calls the color bright yellow.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Seat covers show no wear, carpet good, door panels good. The dash pad does have a couple of cracks, the worst on the speaker grill area.
HOW IS THE ENGINE? Its runs very good, I hear no knock, no rattles and see no blue smoke. I'm reasonably sure it has been rebuilt, but the wife could not tell us any mechanical history. Its a good engine!
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting Turbo 400 automatic.
HEAD LIGHT WORK, The open good, a little slow like most all.
TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! HORN WORKS! WIPERS WORK! TACHOMETER WORKS! AIR CONDITIONING WORKS!
HOW ARE THE BRAKES? I consider them extra good for the day. They are power and 4 wheel disc.
HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? Very good, it is power steering and the most components look
new.
HOW IS THE GLASS? Nice, the side electric windows go up and down very good.
TWO SETS OF T TOPS! The painted ones are nice and a extra set of smoke colored one look like new.
WHAT DOES THIS CAR NEED? In my opinion all it needs is to be driven and have some fun. The clock could be fixed if you want it to work!
