Along with wins at the Pocono 500 and California 500 later in the season, Al Unser Sr. swept the triple crown of Indy Car racing and as of now is the only driver in history to do so. This pace car edition Corvette is also a 25th Anniversary model marking the quarter century milestone for running production. This numbers matching Corvette is powered by the legendary 350 Cubic Inch V8 engine which has less than 4,000 miles since being pulled out and refreshed. While the engine was apart, a more aggressive camshaft was installed to help this Corvette sound and perform more like the racecars that it was built to pace. With only 46,266 actual miles on the entire car, this Corvette has been very well taken care of and is a perfect addition to any collectors garage or display. The two tone gloss black and metallic silver paint shows very well and the gorgeous silver interior absolutely pops in the sun. The glass t-tops are kept safe in their factory leather pouches when you want to cruise while basking in the sun.
