This 2009 Corvette Z06 is located in our Louisville KY showroom. The Z06 was originally offered from 1963-1965 as a competition package on the C2. It had stiffer suspension, bigger brakes, and a much larger gas tank ensuring longer times between pit stops. Adding a substantial 2000 dollars to the price tag it was understandably a very rare option with less than 200 believed to be ordered. Fast forward to 2001 and the name plate had finally returned. While this car was not meant for the track like the original it certainly was track-able. While this C5 was a great car the C6 was a modern interpretation of the coveted original. This 2009 Z06 has everything you could want in a used American supercar. Only two owners with the current owning it since 2010 as well as a clean CARFAX and of course all of the original owner’s manuals not to mention original window sticker. Built strictly for performance, the chassis is aluminum as well as carbon fiber floor pans, fenders, and hood. The black paint looks just as good as it did when it rolled off the line showing no signs of wear what so ever. The chrome 10 spoke wheels show off the huge cross drilled rotors nicely and lets everyone know you mean business. Open the hood and the 427 LS7 looks right at home with the color matched cold air intake giving engine bay an understated yet custom look. Open the door and the black interior looks well taken care of with no signs of aging what so ever. Jump in the driver seat and with the key fob in your pocket hit the start button and those 505 ponies come to life. That’s right no turn the key on this modern American Supercar it's all electronically controlled. Keeping with the modern theme Chevy has done you another favorite with the HUD feature or heads up display. It projects a number of things up on the windshield so you can see your speed, RPM's, gas, and a number of other things. The six speed shifter is in just the right spot and reminds you that this is truly a driver's car.
