The third generation Corvette (C3) was produced by Chevrolet form 1968 to 1982. In 69 Chevrolet once again named the Corvette a Stingray but this time it was all one word as compared to being two previously. They carried this through 1976 and then retired it until bringing it back in 2014. A new rear bumper was introduced in 1974 which replaced the squared tail and chrome rear bumper blades introduced in 1967 with a trim, tapering cover that integrated a license plate holder as well as the trademark recessed round taillights. This particular example was optioned with the L-48 350ci V8 capable of 0-60 mph in 6.8 seconds. It retains its original #’s matching engine that currently has 60,465 miles on it and was also optioned with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, T-tops, power steering and power brakes. It also retains its original Medium Saddle interior and it originally had Classic White paint. It was in a minor wreck a few years ago which damaged both bumpers. They have since been repaired at which time it also received all new brakes and mufflers. The car runs great and everything (including the headlights) works as it should. It is a project that can be driven while you work on it. We have priced this Vette to move so if you like what you see don’t wait until it is sold to call! SOLD
