I’m the original Owner with only 14,840 miles; Red/Black Rag 1986.5 Indy 500 Pace Car, matching documents/factory RPO sticker/title/service records, etc., etc.. All components are original except the wiper blades/oil filter; 350CID/TPI (5.7L), Aluminum Heads, Automatic 700-4R Transmission, GM factory Indy 500 Pace car badge on dashboard, GM factory Indy 500 Pace car Decals still in box (never installed). Aftermarket; Polished SS Door sills, Black leather Bra, Stylish Headrests, SS Spinners & 4 special corvette jacks for storage/Tarp, Commemorative 1986 Indy Jacket & Hat. This vehicle has never been driven in rain, snow or mud and never in an accident. No grime, tarnish or rust on bottom (see photos). Chuck Yeager paced the 1986 Indy 500 in the color yellow version, my preference was to choose Red in color. C4 generation was the last Vette engine coupled with the transmission, all subsequent C5, C6, C7 are Transaxles. The new C8 will be a Mid-engine. C4 was the only Vette year where the automatic was faster than the standard. Stored in climate controlled building on jacks and covered. In museum condition a definite must see to appreciate.
