Car is basically all original except for wheel's/flare's BUT original frame had to be replaced due to rot from snow/salt and was replaced with a very solid/nice '80 Corvette frame.
So, it's titled as an '80 Corvette instead of a '74.
I bought it out of Ca this way.
It previously belonged to a well known motorcycle cycle builder(it was titled in his name and now it is titled in my personal name and is currently registered as a Texas Antique vehicle).
NON AC car!
But, it's a factory 4 speed car with matching #'s(so I'm told).
Car runs very well.
Trans had issues whenever I bought it and I spent a grand on it, it's perfect now.
Car has decent brake's now but after bleeding they should be perfect.
Car will need new mufflers and typical TLC.
I have everything car needs(I THINK) except for hard top hardware and a back glass(I even have a brand new canvas top that needs to be put on).
$7,950 is a STEAL for this baby!
Ck all over the net, t-top car's same year do $8-$12 on a great day and convertible's averagely bring $10 grand more for being a convertible(which my whole car is priced less than this)!
Personally, I love that it's a convertible, I love its Oxblood interior color(which is rare), and I love those wide flare's(which bring a grand-$1,500).
I'm sending it to the paint shop this week(I'm tired of seeing it like this), but if u act quickly I'll either sell it or may even trade it for another classic vehicle that's worth @ least $10 grand.
Something from the 30's-70's.
Maybe even a big old 4 dr Caddy if it's original, nice, and either green, red, or purple(of course purple wouldn't be an original Caddy color).
Thanks
JUST BOUGHT A HIGH $ TILT/TELE COLUMN FOR IT THAT WILL BE INCLUDED IN SALE. SOLD
