1963 Chevrolet Corvair 

The Corvair is a compact car manufactured by Chevrolet from 1960 – 1969. To date it is still the only American designed, mass produced, passenger car with a rear-mounted, air-cooled engine. This particular example is a 2 owner car with 70,810 original miles that was tucked away in a barn over 30 years ago. The second owner brought out of deep storage a few years ago with the intention of restoring the car but their interests changed. It retains its original 145 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine and two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The car runs but needs to be completely serviced and tuned up as it has sat a very long time. It is good enough to get it up on a trailer. It is truly a barn find and will need someone willing to tackle a big project to restore her back to her formal glory. We have priced her fairly but are open to reasonable offers! SOLD
