1962 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova 400

This is one of 1451 1962 Nova 400 Convertibles built and sold in Canada. All I.D. tage indicate GM of Canada, not Chevrolet. I have GM of Canada documentation to authenicate build and sold information.
The car is still 95% original with the exception being the drivetrain. The 6 cyl has been replaced with a 350 V-8 and the PG is replaced with a 350 Turbo trans. Engine has Ram's Horn style manifolds, dual exhaust, stock 4 barrel intake and a Holley carb. Radiator is recored to 3 rows and runs a clutch fan to cool.
The car currently has 15" custom wheels and good tires. I also have the original 13" wheels. Car was repainted once in 1980 and most all original trim is intact. The interior is all original with the bucket seats being recovered one time. Aftermarket carpet is not correct for the car.
Power tops were not offered in the U.S. on 62 convertibles but because this one was built in Oshawa, ON it has a power top original to the car. The top doesn't work curently but I'm working on it. The radio also doesn't work and I think that is a speaker problem. All guages and lights work properly.
There is some rust through over the driver side rear wheel lip. There is some bubbling on front bottom corner of the driver door and front rocker panel area. Trunk and floor pans are intact with no rust showing on the frame rails or in the wheel wells.

I have been driving this car around since I got it out of storage last month. Last weekend we drove about 300 miles without any problems or issues. When I bought this car about 8-9 years ago, I drove it home from Seattle by way of Reno, NV. I drove it on several trips after that but eventually put it in dry storage for 6-7 years. I always hoped to restore the car only because the paint is faded and scratched. Instead I restored another car I have and never got around to this one. The car drives out very good and has no steering or suspension problems. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere in the continental U.S. Car is available for inspection by certified service.
