This is your opportunity to own this "One of a Kind" car built by "RETRO RIDES". Their proprietary process blends together a Generation 1 and Generation 4 Camaro. You have the looks of the Gen 1 and the handling, braking and comfort of the Gen 4. Here is how the car was described in an article in SUPER CHEVY: Take one '02 LS1-powered Camaro and one '69 Camaro, plus a complete outer sheetmetal kit from Goodmark Industries, assemble them carefully together, and what do you have? A hybrid supercar with total fourth-gen performance underneath and '69 Camaro looks up top.
Here is a link to the complete article that shows details of the build process and completed car. The car in the article is different than our car in that it is equipped with an ATS rear mounted turbo system (hence the tubing visible underneath the car). The look is much better without the turbo package.

Here is a brief description of the build process from another automotive publication:
Retro Rides' craftsmen totally strip both the 1st-Gen car and 4th Gen model then rebuild the older car from the ground up. The new '67-69 sheet metal and floorboards merge with shock towers and other parts from the 4th-Gen car to become what is affectionately referred to as Retro Rides "5th-Generation" machine. What you get is a 1st-Generation Camaro with all of the handling and driving capabilities of the late-model performer. Even better, since the car that ends up getting built is a "real" '67-'69 Camaro, it comes complete down to VIN and title.
Here is a description from the builders of the car:
"What we do is build turnkey cars by taking TWO cars, an original first
gen car, as well as a fourth gen. We strip both cars down to the skeleton, and create a whole new hybrid unibody out of parts of each. The car is still titled as a first gen to maintain its collectible status. Once we create this new hybrid unibody, which incorporates the body mounting points of the first gen, and the suspension pickup points of the fourth gen, we then do a first class restoration from there, with new repro body panels, new glass, all new crate drivetrain, new suspension, brakes, etc etc. All that is topped off with a show quality paint job and a new interior, most of which is our own design.
This is a totally unique vehicle combining the authentic look of a 1969 Camero with modern handling and comfort. If you go over the spec sheet you will find many custom parts as well as many "New" parts and upgrades to the 4th generation car. This car has been stored in a climate controlled garage and not driven except to move from point A to point B, the ODO shows aprx. 28K miles but this is what was on the 2002 Camaro used in the build. The 1969 is basically as it was built and has never been licensed and driven. This is a car that can be used as a PRO TOURER or driven daily. We are offering the car at a price significantly lower than the original "New" cost. The car comes with a Utah title and is titled as a 1969 Camaro.
