This immaculate numbers matching Camaro Z28 RS has less than 79,000 original miles and has recently gone through a complete restoration. Because it is an RS, it retains the split bumper, which gives it a truly classic look when compared to later models.
The L82 motor has been rebuilt with a Lunati Voodoo cam and roller rockers. Other performance additions include the Edlebock aluminum intake, Holley 780 carb and custom Hooker headers. These additions take the stock motor from 245HP to a recent dyno of 287HP. That power cranks the rear wheels through a Muncie close ratio four speed, backed by a 11 inch heavy duty clutch and 3.73 rear axle. All other aspects of the restoration include OEM parts, right down to the hoses and fittings.
The undercarriage is clean and correct. It is very solid car that retains the original factory appearance underneath.
The body needed little work and was repainted and re-striped. Interior is all new in correct factory fabric. The trunk is immaculate and the spare wheel and tire match the four on the ground.
Originally purchased in Olympia, WA, the second owner stored the car for approximately ten years with the intention of restoring it. I am the third owner and have had it professionally restored. However, I have too many cars to keep it. It spends its time on a lift in my shop with another classic parked underneath.
This is a top of the line car worth all the money!
