The third-generation Camaro was introduced for the 1982 model year by Chevrolet. These were the first Camaros with factory fuel injection, four-speed automatic transmissions, 16-inch wheels and hatchback bodies. For 1987 a convertible Camaro was reintroduced which was converted by ASC (American Sunroof Company) in relatively small numbers and was discontinued during 1992 which was the final year of the 3rd gen. This particular example was born as a RS but was converted to an IROC-Z about 20 years ago during which time it was upgraded with a cowl hood, a body kit, all of the correct badging and the correct wheels to give a 100% authentic IROC-Z look. It was also upgraded with an Alpine stereo and Polk Audio component speakers. It is equipped with power windows, power locks, power mirrors, tilt, cruise and a/c (needs recharged). It currently has 67,611 original miles and is in excellent mechanical condition. The car is in above average condition yet we have priced it as if it were average for a quick sale. If you like what you see you better move because there are not many of these out there! SOLD
