1977 Chevrolet C10 4x4 Fleetside

The C series was the name of Chevrolet�s full size pick ups from 1960 � 1999. The 1960 model year introduced a new body style of light pick-up trucks that featured many firsts. Most important of these changes was a drop-center ladder frame which allowed the cab to sit lower and independent front suspension which gave an almost car-like ride in a truck. The cab was changed for 1964 by eliminating the wraparound windshield, the front grille was redesigned and there were various interior changes. Updated styling features for the 1967 came with new body sheet metal that helps fight rust and a pickup box made of double-walled steel. In 1969 it received a redesigned grille again along with a more upright hood. In 1971 AM/FM radios were factory installed and the front brakes were upgraded from drum to discs. This particular example was completely restored 16,909 miles ago using all new galvanized GM metal and it was repainted in a gorgeous Forest Green Metallic that just sparkles in the sunlight. The engine is a 350ci V8 that was bored .030 over and completely rebuilt less than 200 miles ago at which time the water pump, fuel pump, belts and hoses were all replaced. At that same time it also received a new battery and a new exhaust. It also has a rebuilt Turbo 350 tranny as well as a 10 bolt posi rear end with 3:73 gears along with the same gears up front. The 33� BF Goodrich tires have 16,909 miles, have even wear and look brand new because of the upgraded polyurethane bushings and complete rebuild of the front end at the time of restoration. The interior is mostly original and extremely clean except for the aftermarket stereo and steering wheel. The truck has been garage kept, stored in the winters and not used as an off road vehicle. All said and done this is one extremely clean and totally reliable truck that needs nothing but a new home. Over $30,000 has been spent to bring this baby to it current stage.
