Stunningly Clean and Fully Restored - 1973 Chevy K5 Blazer
Turn heads with a fully restored 1973 Chevy K5 Blazer full-top hardtop convertible, a perfect truck for cruising with the top off. With a removable hard top and removable backseat, take advantage of the hauling space or bring your friends along.
The most recent restoration, completed in December, was a complete frame-off restoration to stock parts except the engine, which is a rebuilt 1988 Chevy Suburban 350 with fuel injection. The new engine has about 700 miles on it (odometer was not reset).
This Blazer features a completely new custom paint job, with silver and metallic black paint that gleams in the sun, complimenting the clean lines of the custom chrome grill. The interior was also completely replaced, including grey cloth seats with black leather accents and sides.
This truck is in great shape from the frame up, with a straight frame and body and sturdy roll-bar, as well as new 15" rims and 31" tires. A 4x4 automatic, this truck was freshly redesigned in 1973 to include a posi-traction rear axle, dual exhaust, power steering and power disc brakes.
Other bonuses include a newly installed 1300 watt sound system with AM/FM radio, CD player and MP3 jack and removable faceplate, and a full-size spare tire with cover.
After about $42,000 invested into the restoration, this powerful truck runs and drives like new.
Some minor known issues: no A/C, minimal rust in the usual places, some patched damage on the hard top corners, odometer shows 6754 miles: 6000 on the previously rebuilt engine and 700 on the completely new engine.
