*******I CANNOT STRESS HOW PERFECTLY THIS CAR RUNS/DRIVES(I’M EVEN KICKING AROUND HAVING IT PAINTED PURPLE LIKE I HAD ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO DO AND PLAYING WITH IT FOR AWHILE, U WILL NEVER FIND ANOTHER ONE THAT’S THIS SOLID AND PERFECT DRIVING FOR THIS PRICE, NO WAY, IT’S JUST THAT “FUN” TO DRIVE)*******
Updated 12/14/21.
*******PRICE IS $10,550 FIRM, NO OFFERS PLEASE*******
Even tho I hv had it listed f/s on/off for a few month’s, TODAY 12/14/21 is the first day that it’s actually sellable!
Because today it finally was ready @ mechanic shop who has had it for the past 3 months.
I pd a $2,100 bill on it today, it had a complete head job, it has a new water pump, a new HEI distributor, it has a new battery, it has new alternator, fuel system was flushed, and now car literally runs perfectly(I mean it runs super smooth)!!!
It drives amazingly tight too.
Also, muffler isn’t that old either.
I noticed after it got delivered to me that it has a slight radiator leak so I’m going to throw a little stop leak in it and hope that stops it(worst case new owner sends radiator to a radiator shop for repair).
Also, ac works but fan blower motor is kinda on the brink(comes on whenever it wants to do it needs a new blower motor).
Other picks are, needs a few bumper filler ends(typical), it has a crack in windshield(last one I bought for my 76 Caprice Wgn was $200 so not too bad), and it has some typical type scratches, dings, etc BUT BUT BUT nothing drastic/bad!
And it will need a good(simple) detail from previously sitting since 1997.
Now, for more AWESOME news!!!
Car sat indoors since 1997 until earlier this year in Austin Tx and this baby is ROCK SOLID!!!
A guy got from previous owner and I bought it from him as soon as I saw it for sale online.
I LOVE CLAMSHELL WAGON’S(hv owned a handful)!
I was super excited whenever I saw it for sale because I had always regretted selling my others!
Previous owner to me wasn’t honest about its mechanical condition/problems(like it having a blown head gasket) BUT it is what it is!
I’m an HONEST guy/seller and I can HONESTLY say that NOW this baby runs smooth as silk!
I added the $3 grand custom Coy wheels(20’s/18’s), I sold original wheels so they’re no longer available.
I DIG it still BUT what I REALLY want is a 70’s GM SWB custom van and they’re not CHEAP, in fact most I’ve seen that I like r TRIPLE my low price here!
Month’s ago, NON RUNNING, I wanted @ one point $11,500 for it(again NOT RUNNING) and believe it or not I was offered $9-$10 GRAND for it and I know, I shoulda taken those offers BUT I was not really even caring if I sold it then.
Now tho, I need it gone and man am I offering one heck of a deal on it(and if u know anything about Clamshell Wagon’s, how RARE they r and what they usually bring then u should be able to appreciate my INCREDIBLE DEAL here)!
I can recommend a fast/reliable auto transporter if needed.
Thanks for looking! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
