1958 Chevy Apache 31 Suburban ~ An absolute gem. It's so easy to take yourself back to 58' when Conway Twitty took you through the holidays with his Billboard Hot 100 hit "It's Only Make Believe" or maybe you remember when you were a kid asking your dad if you could change the station so you could hear Frank Coppola of The Royal Teens say "Ewe man dig that crazy chic" in the hit single "Short Shorts"...
This Apache Suburban will bring it all back to you and everyone who sees you in it. It has been re-coated in its original Chevrolet 1958 color code 11805 Dawn Blue on the bottom, and a Candy White on the top. The powertrain has been redone in its original form with the Blue Flame Six Cylinder & Turboglide Transmission that is 3 on the tree, with a 3 speed overdrive. All the other mechanical trimmings have been replaced like the alternator, starter, etc. etc. and recently dropped the fuel tank to replace the sending unit. The manifolds have been split to run dual glasspacks that give it the perfect thundering roar when you goose it. Radiator has been polished & the exterior chrome is in excellent condition. Aftermarket power seats were installed by the previous owner and the back bench can be easily removed for hauling large items. It has wood runners that also act as rear seating and the tops are hinged to lift up for dry storage. The tires and brakes are in good condition and it has fresh inspection and tags. This really is a one of a kind find; you just don't see these around at all, and definitely not in this condition. It's a head turner for sure, and there will not be one day that someone doesn't stop you to compliment or share their own memory of such a fine automobile.
