1949 Chevrolet 5700 

FOR SALE: 1949 Chevrolet 5-window COE truck: $6500. Located in Eureka Montana 59917. This is the 5700 model COE. I don't know if this is the deluxe model like a pickup. It does have the stainless on the inside of the windows and outside. Chrome hood latches. Maybe all of the coe's had the nicer trim. Not sure but the cheaper model pickups didn't have the stainless. The body on the truck is very nice. Very minor rust starting in the drivers side rear cab corner. It's a very easy fix. It's been painted once along time ago. No filler bubbling or cracking. I checked it with a digital paint thickness meter also. The trucks doors and hood open fine. Very straight sheetmetal. Inline six cylinder with manual trans and 2-speed rear. The starter is off the motor and I haven't tried to turn it over. It is complete besides the starter and it looks like the voltage regulator was robbed. The truck has a newer hydraulic tilt flatbed. It's in nice shape and no rot in the wood deck. The rear door for the bed sides is included. If you don't want the flatbed, I can take it off. It's easier and cheaper to ship it with just the cab/chassis. The truck will come with a clear title but I haven't filed it yet. I've done the process in Montana several times so it will just take a few weeks to get it back. $6500 SOLD
