1948 Chevrolet 3600 

This truck is all original (except for a few details like a carb, split-rims, and hardened valve seats).

It is truly my daily driver. I put about 30 miles on it each day and I love driving it.

The original engine (216, straight six) was professionally and entirely rebuilt in 2016 with refurbished head, new hardened valve seats, valves, valve springs & valve stems, new pistons, rings, cam, lifters, and refurbished crankshaft (0.01" under). The rods were refinished with insert bearings. The block was cleaned and cylinders were bored (0.03" over).

Clutch pad and Brakes were refurbished with new parts about 2000 miles ago. Windshield wiper still functions off the vacuum motor. The electrical system is 12volt and all the gauges work.

Oak wood bed was replaced in 2016. Tires and wheel are new.

Very little rust and the body has been clear-coated.

Granny trans - 4 speed, on the floor.
