1953 Chevrolet 3100 

For Sale: 1953 Chevrolet 3100 short bed step side pick up truck project. Clear Ohio title will be 1953 GMC - with replacement VIN tag. This was a western truck that has been weathered for some time - still solid but does have rust. The cab will need cowl work on driver side - like a lot of these old trucks the door has been opened too far. Bed needs angle strips installed
Front suspension is a custom built narrowed C4 Corvette Kmember with a Mustang II power rack & pinion. Rear is a 10 bolt Chevy with a heavy duty Ride Tech triangulated four link - Qa1 coil over shocks at all four corners.
The TBI 305 small block with 400TH transmission are sitting in for weight & placement but not welded in yet. I personally pulled motor & trans from running 1987 G20 and have all parts (wiring, computer,drive pulleys & accessories) needed to install.
The truck is as low as it gets in the front (coil overs at there lowest threads) - the rear has plenty of adjustment left.
The rims are new American Torq Thrust M 17x7 & 17x8 wrapped with Riken Raptor tires.
There is a new Summit chrome tilt column included & nice Sanderson tight block hugger headers.
Original seat is functional/presentable & I will include missing speedo.
I will offer this truck in its present condition for $5,500 with these parts. This is the cash $ - The only way it gets any cheaper is if I keep parts. Please email any questions - I will answer quickly & honestly.
