This is a solid old pickup truck. Nice body with very little rust. Of course the paint is not good but if you like the worn patina look, it has plenty of that. The body has a couple dings but is very straight and solid for an un-restored 1951 model. Very little rust. The rust is in the floorpans when your feet sit. Easy to repair and repair panels are cheap. The motor runs really nice. Starts right up every time. Inline six cylinder that looks original. It's a 216 engine or early 235. It does not have blowby, runs smooth, doesn't smoke or tick. It needs exhaust, and tires. I would put new shocks on it and the usual tuneup stuff. I would rewire it because it's cheap and easy to do. It needs some glass and it's all flat and cheap/easy to replace. 4-speed manual works perfectly. Has granny low first and reverse. Brakes work. I have not driven the truck on the highway but it for sure needs tires and shocks. The body is real solid. It has the rust on the floor that I mentioned, where your feet sit. Rockers and under the seat etc. are fine. The truck needs the interior redone. This doesn't add up to much. The headliner is gone. Reproductions are cheap. The seat needs recovered and it needs a floormat or carpet. The pics tell the story. I can get more pics also. I can help with shipping. Clear title. More pics I can send.
