Nearly everyone loves the 50’s ultimate cruiser, the 1957 Chevrolet. You see them at almost every car show, painted every color imaginable and done to every level from stock to custom. Their enduring popularity and the way these cars hold their value make them an excellent investment and a great source of enjoyment at the same time.
To many 1957 Chevy fans, the 150 trim line has just enough chrome, but still shows off the body lines and gives it a sleeker look. The high visibility yellow paint works well with the ’57 Chevy to give somewhat of custom look.
The body gaps are good, panels are straight and smooth and nothing was removed or shaved during restoration, so details that are special about a ’57 Chevy are still intact. Grill, bumpers and stainless trim are in very good shape. Corvette Rally wheels with spinners and Goodyear wing foot HP 225/70/15 tires complete the look. All glass is tinted and in good condition.
Under the hood you find a detailed engine compartment with lots of chrome such as valve covers, breather, alternator, all brackets, water pump, thermostat housing, oil filter tube and cap, master cylinder cover and chrome coil.
The engine is a 350 CI with aluminum intake, dual line 4 barrel carburetor, and electronic ignition. Transmission is a 350 turbo automatic and a 3.50 gear ratio differential.
All interior is in good condition. The dash has billet trim all the way across in the center of the dash. Carpets, seats and head liner are fitted tight and without any rips or tears. Three auxiliary gauges are positioned below the dash to monitor oil pressure, temperature and voltage. An AM/FM stereo with cassette player fits perfectly where the original AM radio used to reside.
Brakes are power disc on front and drum on rear. Rebuilt front suspension makes it an excellent driver.
The trunk has been upgraded to upholstery and is suitable to carry your nicest belongings without fear of soiling them.
Now to strike a nerve of every die hard ’57 Chevy enthusiast, underneath the car is beautifully detailed with red oxide primer extending the full length of the floor pans. Exhaust pipes are 2 ½ inch diameter with Flowmaster mufflers. Everything else underneath is nice and the proper color. Also, you will find no leaks underneath.
