This 1976 Cadillac Seville is from the first year of production. Built in August 1975 and sold new by Coulter Cadillac of Phoenix, AZ (dealer decal is still on windshield). Spent much of its life in AZ; original owner moved to WA in mid-1990's. I'm the third owner and purchased the car in May 2005 with 89,178 miles showing (now shows just under 93,200 believable miles). Approximately 4000 miles driven since purchased over seven years ago.
Car is triple white (white vinyl top, paint, and leather interior) with black carpeting and dashboard. Has 350 cubic inch electronic fuel injected engine; automatic transmission; factory glass sliding sunroof; automatic climate control; PS, PB, PW, PL, dual power front seats, power antenna, AM/FM stereo with 8-track tape, cruise control, tilt & telescope steering wheel, automatic lights, automatic high beam dimmer, remote trunk and hood releases, manual remote left & right outside mirrors, and reclining front passenger seat.
Since purchasing, car's A/C has been converted for R-134 (but needs new compressor); all belts and hoses replaced; all fluids replaced; oil and filter changed every 6-9 months; new air adjustable rear shock absorbers installed; new tires; and has been kept in a garage. The car starts quickly and runs smoothly, is very quiet and smooth riding, is very dependable, and everything is in working order with the exception of needing a new A/C compressor, a repair to the radio, and repair to the front passenger window control button. Car is driven on short to moderate outings every one or two weeks, but never in rain or snow.
The May 2012 NADA Old Car Price Guide lists the average retail value (also known as a 20 footer) at $11,650. This Seville is in very nice condition overall, plus it runs very well and looks great even at 5 feet away! Asking price was $7,900--- NOW LOWERED TO: $6,900.
