At Pedigree we are always looking for the finest examples of the motorcars we specialize in. When we first saw this Cadillac we were really struck by it. Not only is it a spectacular color combination, but it has been unbelievably beautifully preserved, and it has only 22,000 miles on it. However, the color, the quality, and the miles are not it's only special characteristics.
In 1965 bucket seats were very popular option on the Cadillac convertible‘s. They gave the car a sporty look to the interior and were very attractive. Never before have we seen bucket seats in a sedan. We were so surprised by this car's configuration, that we did some research to see if it was an original option or not. What we learned really surprised us… In 1965 you can order factory bucket seats in any Cadillac. This magnificent Hampton blue metallic Sedan DeVille has Natural White leather factory bucket seats… And boy does it look spectacular!!! This option along with all of his other very special characteristics makes this one of the rarest Sedan DeVille‘s you can find.
Both front bucket seats both have the power option to move forward and backward. The center console is lined with blue carpeting to match the carpeting in the car and the inside lid is a flawless beautiful chrome. It has a light inside that lights up when you open the lid. This really is a beautiful piece of Cadillac craftsmanship. The rest of the all original interior is just as impressive. The leather seats are still soft and supple and are in nearly flawless condition. There is no cracking, warping, or any flaws in the dashboard door panels or steering wheel. The brushed stainless steel that trims the interior is magnificent. And everything in the car works exactly as it should. This car also features factory air conditioning, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, a.m. radio with a power antenna, and electric windows throughout. Being that it is a pillar less hardtop, It really opens up the interior and it is impressive to the enthusiast and the casual bystander.
Outside, the Hampton Blue metallic paint is just beautiful. It is the perfect combination with the Natural White leather interior. The blue paint shows very little signs of age and only minor touch up. The chrome on the exterior of the car is almost 100% perfect. There is very little signs of age, and it is clearly evident that this car has been lovingly maintained throughout it's 52 year life.
This really is one of the most impressive examples we have ever seen. But it is not only impressive to look at, it is incredibly impressive Cadillac to drive. Upon the twist of the key the engine fires right up idles smoothly. The transmission shifts seamlessly as it glides down the road. Due to it having modern radial tires it is incredibly stable at speed and has very respectable road matters.
