"The color combination of this car really captures the elegance and nostalgia of the era"
This is a true Cadillac CLASSIC! Fix your eyes and set your heart on this 1941 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special. This is the most sought after year of the Sixty Special (60S), it is believed by many to be Cadillac's "ALL TIME BEST". Its crisp and imaginative design by Bill Mitchell transcended other automobiles available at the time and set the automotive world abuzz. This model is considered to be the most beautiful and most desirable cars of this era and you can be its next owner!
Powered by the 346 cubic inch, 5.67L, 150hp V8, this is the best running classic car I have driven in a long time! These engines were used in the M-5 and M-24 tanks by the US Army whose reliability were so profound that they had a major impact on us winning the war. Its three speed manual transmission shifts as it should and the engine runs as if were brand new! The engine and dash wiring have been replaced and the engine has had all the work done to make this reliable enough even to be a daily driver. The starter, carburetor, and fuel pump were all rebuilt. The radiator was cleaned out and the radiator thermostat has been replaced, along with the radiator and heater hoses. The radiator shutters work as they should and the car runs cool as a cucumber. The heater system and defroster work perfectly as they should. The engine and its compartment are immaculate (see the pictures). The exhaust system has also been replaced and is like new. The brake wheel cylinders, hardware, and shoes are all new and the emergency brake cable has been replaced. All this work was done about three years ago, but it looks as if it were done just yesterday.
It also sports a brand new 8V battery, these cars normally have a 6V, but the extra power gives this car's big motor a better jolt to start up easily everytime. Nearly everything on this fine automobile works perfectly. The few items that are not functioning are the light in the glove box, the trunk light, and the cigar lighter. It may need a new fuel tank float, (gas gauge works intermittently). Those things are no big deal though and don’t take away from the value of this beautiful car.
The head turning exterior of this fine classic is dressed exquisitely in a two-toned Gunmetal gray with lighter Berkeley gray top and roof, and was intended to look like a faux convertible back in 1941. Again, when you see this car it really brings you back to the time period and captures the essence of the elegance of the era. The paint job is in average condition and although it isn’t perfect, it still looks really great from a reasonable distance; it still shines up really well. I would rate it about 7 out of ten as it is an older repaint (about 7 or 8 years ago). There are no scratches to mention and the body is mostly straight with very few, if any noticeable dings. The driver side fender has a very small dent that is hardly noticeable except to the critical or extremely investigative eye and does not detract at all from the overall beauty of this gorgeous Sixty Special.
The chrome is in EXCELLENT condition as many items were re-chromed, to include: the front and rear bumpers, the trademark egg crate grill, the headlight and tail light trim, the trunk hinges and latch, the dash pieces, hub caps, windshield interior trim, windshield wiper brackets, steering wheel trim, and of course the gorgeous LADY hood ornament! The white wall tires are NEW Firestone Deluxe Champion 7.00 x 15 gum dipped tires and give this beauty a spectacular ride quality. Even the spare tire is new! That's right five new tires! ($1000 value) There are no signs of rust on this classic Cadillac as the last owner lived in Arizona, it is in Good to Excellent condition for its age.

The interior is in EXCELLENT condition. The dash, door panels, and headliner are all in EXCELLENT condition. The interior and trunk carpet are all like new condition. The gauges, turn signal, radio, and windshield wipers all work! There is a lever under the center of the dash to raise and lower the cowl hood vent and it works properly, of course. 99% of the glass is perfect, as the windshield and vent glass have been replaced; the front passenger window is the only flawed piece of glass as it has some slight bubbling within the glass.
