For sale in our Chicago showroom is a true survivor 1970 Cadillac Coupe Deville. This creampuff of a coupe is finished in a very unique shade called Bayberry Metallic that is nicely accented by a luxurious black vinyl top and matching light brown interior covered in high quality leather hides. By 1970 American fashion and design was taking on a personality all its own and that became reflected in the cars General Motors was beginning to release. This low mileage survivor is no exception featuring a large chrome grill, huge front and rear bumpers, long flowing fenders, massive doors and quarter panels the size of most compact cars today. With the Fin-Fad disappearing in 1964, Cadillac kept with the same vertical taillights that are still seen today. The 1970 model featured diamond pointed taillight assemblies that looked futuristic for the time but were also with the higher mounted lights were more visible to drivers behind you. Inside the trunk you will notice plenty of room for your luggage or multiple sets of golf clubs.
Under the hood is the original 472 Cubic Inch big block that was known for its reliability and durability but also a smooth and quiet acceleration. The turbo-hydramatic automatic transmission was a perfect compliment with its smooth and precise shifting and was also known for longevity and requires little maintenance. This car really does ride like a dream and is fun and relaxing to drive. The power steering and brakes make maneuvering and stopping this dream boat a breeze.One pull on the door handles and the huge solid steel door swings out to reveal a very comfortable seating surface with high back seats and center arm rest.
