Welcome to viewing my cool vintage car, a blue on blue 1964 Buick Riviera!
This car is a fine example of a well preserved collectible, fun to drive car that I am reluctantly selling.
It runs and drives well and really doesn't need anything except a good home for the right person.
It has been collecting dust for the past 15 years and seldom driven except to keep it breathing.
It runs with a GM Buick Nailhead V-8 425 4-barrel engine and Super Turbine 400 3 speed automatic transmission. Power steering and brakes of course.
This is a non-air car with electric windows and "deluxe" interior and blue headliner. factory tinted blue glass and power fly windows (rare). Cruise control but not the original radio. Mileage is unknow as the odometer only goes to 99 thousand and its showing about 7000 i think.
This is not a show car at this point but obviously has the potential with some attention to detail.
Chrome and glass is great but the paint is faded. I would suggest a cut polish or new paint as is total restoration or show.
The interior is in good shape. The dash has a crack as does the steering wheel which is typical for these cars. The carpet is exceptional. No obvious rust but I'm sure there are spots if you look hard. Rust free is a misnomer.
I've owned a '65 before and know that any part is available through local and US suppliers but really all i would replace or fix is the dash.
So I'm presently working on another project and would consider selling it for a decent price. I am looking to get about 15,000 canadian for this great running car.
I'm presently in Alberta but could deliver to BC where it will eventually live if I keep it.
Thanks for viewing and long live historic big block cars!!
