At some point in time, the Riviera was repainted in the original color of Marlin Blue. 1963 Riviera engines were painted silver from the factory. This original 401 CID V8 “Nailhead” puts out 445 ft-lb’s of torque to the rear wheels. The 401 “Nailhead” V8 has been mated with a 2-speed Turbine Transmission. It gets the power to the rear wheels and allows this Riviera to cruise the highway with ease. The Riviera is also equipped with power brakes to insure this car stops in an instant when needed. The beautiful dark blue leather interior is accented with a light blue headliner that makes the interior both comfortable and inviting. The Riviera is equipped with front and rear bucket seats. The rear bucket seats have a center arm rest to provide occupants with additional comfort. The interior has also been loaded with power options. Even power wing windows that still work! The power tilt steering wheel makes this Riviera so easy that you can do it with one finger. For safety reasons, we suggest that you keep both hands on the wheel. All the factory gauges are in good working order. The power driver’s seat works, but the drive gear will need to be looked at. Another rare option is the Autronic High Beam Light Dimmer. It is mounted on the dash and automatically dims when oncoming traffic is approaching at night. Another feature not usually seen in these early 60’s car is a remote trunk release located in the glove box. The 15 inch radial tires are by Diamond Back Tires and have the correct 1 ˝ white wall. Original Turbine Wheel covers with 3-bar Buick spinners accent the tires. Many of these aluminum caps were destroyed through mishandling or attempted theft. The Riviera is also with a dual exhaust, just like it came from the factory. The trunk has the original material. Spare tire cover and floor jack. The undercarriage of this car is as well. Pictures of the underside are available upon request. This classic Riviera is equipped with; aluminum wheels, power steering, power seat, leather interior, and wide whitewall radial tires.
