The Reatta was first two-seater Buick ever produced and was first introduced as a 1988 model. In 1990 they offered a convertible version and production ended after the 1991 model year. It featured a transverse mounted Buick 3800 3.8L V6, a fully independent suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS, front wheel drive and is the only model Buick ever offered with pop-up headlamps. Other features include power operated twin bucket seats with lockable storage bins behind the seats and a lockable hatch that provides access to the trunk. In 1990 the interior was redesigned adding a driver airbag and an optional CD player. In 1991 the Buick 3800 V6 was upgraded with a new L27 version, the 4T60 transmission was upgraded with an E version, the ABS system was upgraded, it received new 16 rims, automatic headlamps and a cup holder was built into the armrest. Only 305 convertibles were produced in 1991 making it the most exclusive of all models. Optioned in Bright Red paint with a Medium Beachwood interior and a Tan cloth top this beauty has 97,029 original miles. Within the last 5 years it was painted in its original color and the interior and top were replaced as well so it shows quite well.
