This car has been sitting for about 10 years, the car has been preserved very well! There is little little little rust, for this rare topless Buick. There is not a top on the car at all, but has been covered up very well keeping the interior dry as a bone. All the hardware is complete including motor, pumps, etc. All glass is good. The interior has the 80's look with crush velvet guts, seats, door panels and red carpet, it is all very presentable and usable. The interior is not torn to pieces, it is very complete. The clock is not on the dash but I do have one. The dash pad is cracked but not gone in any way. All the chrome shines up nice! There are only a few dents and dings here and there, nothing major. The car was painted some time ago and is still holding up great! The driver side door was kicked in by a horse, bending the trim too that I still have. The door opens and closes as it should. I did some pulling on the dent and straitening it up as good as I could without paint and looks fine. The trunk floor was replaced at one time with original sheet metal, looks great! Floor pans, rockers, underneath, etc…. are solid! Under the hood is a 401 Nailhead 6.6l with a freshly rebuilt carter afb carb, and a good tune up. The gas tank has been stripped, cleaned and coated and added all new fuel lines. Transmission shifts as it should! The car runs and drives good, it just needs a few little things to make it road trip worthy! Won’t take much! I have driven around town and on the highway briefly. In addition this car has power steering which slowly leaks fluid at the gear box, nothing a seal kit cant fix. The car also has power brakes, stops great! . This is truly a good convertible to have. I have lowered the car a couple inches all the way around by cutting the factory springs, It drives very straight! I put new tires and new 15” starburst smoothie caps all the way around for that 60’s custom look. Nothing has been cut, replacing the springs with stock ones would make this car ready for a factory restoration if desired.
