Recently restored, totally matching numbers 1971 Buick GS equipped with a 350 c.i. engine and Turbo 350 transmission. Date codes and stamping on the Rally Wheels, rear end axle housing, transmission, engine, carburetor, and ram air breather indicate that the entire drive train of this car is factory original. Motor rebuilt at around 75,000 miles. Now shows approximately 91,000 miles and the engine starts up immediately, does not smoke, and pulls like a locomotive. Here are some highlights of the restoration process:
- All STEEL body repair (no filler or fiberglass), including new floor and trunk pans.
- Professionally repainted in original Cortez Gold paint.
- All new body hardware such as mirrors, door handles, and locks.
- Full interior restoration with OE style and color (sandalwood), including seat foam and vinyl, carpet, overhead liner, sun visors.
- Original transmission overhauled and rebuilt. New tires all around.
- Many more equally important repairs too numerous to list here, however, I have complete receipts and extensive photo documentation that I will provide upon request.
