1976 BMW 3.0Si

Rare 1976 BMW 3.0Si. 4 Door. 4 speed manual trans. Sunroof, (works). All original and ready to restore. This car was running well when parked, (in a Carport), about 2 years ago. Body in excellent condition. Original blue paint is faded somewhat on trunk and roof. As this was a daily driver for several years, miliage is high...180K range, but engine work and head replacement occurred about 10K to 15K miles ago. Leather interior is decent but a small tear in drivers seat. Dash very good, headliner OK. Power windows are not presently working, although front ones did when parked. Right rear window switch is disassembled. Drop down Tool kit in trunk is mostly complete. May be other flaws I cannot recall.
This was the top of the line luxury sedan in '76, and could be returned to it's glory. Only about 7500 were exported to the US so parts can be a challenge.
If you are interested in a unique car, fun to drive, and very safe...and you want to shine it up, this car has great potenial. Very few, if any in this price range, are available in the entire United States.
I've owned it since 1998 but I really need it to move on to a good home. I will listen to any reasonable offer.
