1971 BMW 2002 in Agave with sunroof. Yes, it’s a “roundie” California car, shock towers, rockers and spare well are rust free. Ti steelies with hub caps, Bilstein HDs, H&R springs and anti-sways, 320i 5spd transmission mod with L/S. Rotary style A/C compressor (donated from a Honda Civic), radiator modified to 3 core with shroud from a 320i. Tii exhaust manifold and Tii mechanical distributor with Petronix. Powdered coated strut tower braces front and rear; Optima battery relocated to trunk within bracket that is a part of the rear strut tower brace, new Pirelli 400 P185/70R13s. New interior upholstery and new headliner. Kenwood AM/FM w/CD. Gauge pack inserted in place of ashtray, gives H2O temp, oil pressure and charge. New chrome bits. New lower control arms, bushings and center link, stainless steel braided brake hoses. Fresh load of RedLine oil in transmission and differential, BradPenn oil in the crankcase. Magnaflow exhaust follows OEM path. Plenty fun and overdrive fifth gear makes it a fuel miser, if you can keep your foot out of it.
