Thanks for stopping by to take a look at our very cool 1966 Austin Mark 1 Mini Traveler Estate. She is also referred to as a Traveller and is a near twin to the Morris Mini Countryman. This is the one you want in the right colour and with the right upgrades.
Very well cared for in a stable of other British cars in Arizona, she was recently traded to us for a unique car from Tamworth.
Rarity
Thousands were produced yet relatively few remain in the wild today. Our research shows maybe a dozen cars available worldwide, most in England as one would assume.
Exterior
Factory correct to this car, the red paint is gorgeous. There are some flaws noticeable upon close inspection. See the photos. The wood is in overall good to excellent condition. Beautiful chrome and accents. Minilite style wheels really add to the look.
Interior
Beautiful interior upholstery, carpet, dash, headliner and door panels. Classic British wood and billet Mountney steering wheel. Wood shift knob. Seat belts for five. Fold down rear seat. Excellent panel fit. Barn doors in the rear.
Floors

Wheels, Tires
10” Minator Minilite style wheels with Yokohama A-008 tyres. Tires still have the nips on them. Steel spare wheel and tyre.
Engine
Nicely kitted out 998 cc with chrome and aluminum bits. Rebuilt and polished SU carbs and nice aluminum finned valve cover. Exhaust header. She shows a 150 lbs of compression across all four cylinders. Engine code number 99H
Transmission
The manual transmission is excellent and working properly.
Braking, Suspension
Four wheel drum brakes. Brakes serviced. New Master cylinder. See photos. The famous hydrolastic suspension is in excellent condition and provides great road feel and precise handling.
